Switchboard Non Conductive Matting

Switchboard non-conductive matting is formulated to provide insulation for the worker. The non-conductive mat prevents the worker from being grounded, thereby preventing electrical shock. Each square foot of matting is tested in conformance with ANSI/ANSTM D-178 specifications. Switchboard matting also features:

• A corrugated rib-tooth pattern or diamond plate pattern to enhance traction
• A vinyl compound to prevent electrical shock
• An overall thickness of 1/4"

Each square foot of this matting meets or exceeds the following:

• Type 2 Compound: Polyvinyl Chloride
• Class 2 Di-Electric Strength: 30,000 volts
• Proof Test of 20,000 volts
• Recommended maximum usage of 17,000 volts
