| | Do you accept Purchase Orders? | | Certainly. You can fax your PO to 408-228-0616 | | What is the difference between Nitrile rubber and SBR rubber? | | SBR rubber is a compound of natural and man-made rubbers. It provides very fine abrasion, wear, and tensile qualities. However, like natural rubber, SBR offers little resistance to oils and chemicals. Nitrile rubber, on the other hand is specially formulated to resist oils and chemicals. Nitrile rubber is ideal for kitchen and cooking areas. | | Do I need to tape my garage floor Parking Pad to the ground? | | Taping around edges is not necessary. This product can expand or contract up to 2% with temperature changes. It is best if the product is allowed to 'float' freely on the floor. If you choose to tape the seam between two floor protectors, we recommend using indoor-outdoor carpet tape. To create a seamless connection between two Parking Pads, please use our Seaming Kit. | | Is the Parking Pad a non-slip floor? | | The Parking Pad has a patterned surface that adds a degree of non-slip to your garage floor. However, any floor surface can become slippery in the presence of moisture and debris. Proper care and cleaning of your garage flooring will reduce the likelihood of slips and falls. Wipe up any oil, chemicals, or other fluids that may drip or leak from vehicle to prevent hazardous, slippery conditions. | | What is do the "Superior, Better and Good" categories mean? | |
All our flooring products are rigorously tested. The total results
of each of the following test help us decide which mats are Superior,
Better or Good. For you technical folks, you can read all the
different test that we subject upon all our flooring on our Mat
Testing page. For your non-technorati types, the brief answer is
that the "Superior" category mats will last longer, feel
softer, and offer more slip resistance than the others.
